verbena dying back - Knowledgebase Question

I live in zone7 where the purple verbena is a perennial. Will it die back during the winter or will it still be green and visible during this time? Thank you for your time! I love your website.

Raegan,

It will die back just a little but most of the above ground parts will remain overwinter and resprout new growth in spring. Actual winter conditions will determine the plants overall performance.
