Your web site states that satinwood grows in partial shade. My question is will full sun be to much for it? Also how long does it take for the hedge to fill in? If I planted them @3'-0

Stephen,

Satinwood won't be very happy in full sun. A spacing of 3-4 feet is about right for making a hedge. When young the plants grow rapidly and so fill in quickly but will need several shearing a year to help shape them into a hedge. As they get older reaching their normal size of 6-12 feet tall growth slows down.

Thanks for the question. Please stop in again soon!
