When is the best time to plant red yuccas?

I your hot summer climate, it would be best to wait until early fall to plant your yuccas. Plants suffer less stress when transplanted during cool weather. Be sure to water your yuccas regularly after planting, until fall rains take over for you. Best wishes with your garden!
