do you plant fruit tree's in the fall or spring?

Kathryn,

In your area you can plant them at either time. Container grown plants are available throughout the year in many cases and can thus be fall planted, or planted in the late winter or even in the early spring. Bare root plants on the other hand are only available in late winter and should be planted as soon as they are available in late winter.
