| William, Very strange indeed! I am not aware of anything that can take a habanero except a bird which would not be out at night. Squirrel certainly can't take it. I suggest you consider providing some type of scheme to identify the creature such as muddy soil around the plants so you can later look for footprints. Thanks for the question.
