| Wisteria seeds can be planted as soon as they are ripe without pre-treatment and will usually germinate the next spring, but to be honest I am not sure your seeds will be mature. Usually they would be "picked" in October rather than now. Also I should mention that wisteria vines grown from seed can take up to 20 years to reach blooming age. If you really want a start from your friend's plant, this is a good time of year to root tip cuttings. You might try that also. Good luck with your wisteria! |
