I want to establish a Lavender hedge. Where I want to plant this hedge is in the area of an established sprinkler system Which of the Monrovia cultivars would you suggest for size and tolerance to regular watering?
Thank you,

Overhead watering will promote fungal diseases in lavender, plus the plant and the flowers and stems will become top heavy and droop when watered overhead. It would be better to use a drip system with lavender rather than have them growing where sprinklers will regularly douse them. You may want to reconsider your choice of lavender, or see if you can somehow reprogram the sprinkler system to avoid that specific planting area.
