The Q&A Archives: Kalanchoes

Question: How can I get these beautiful plants (I have them as border plants--about 50 of them) to bloom again in the summer hot months? Should the flowers be trimmed off after blooming?

Answer: William,

You can trim the flowers off if you want to tidy up the plants a little, but such trimming is not required. Kalanchoes bloom primarily from winter to early summer.
