The Q&A Archives: Palace Purple Coral Bells

Question: I purchased a palace purple coral bell a few years back and it had a green shoot on it which I separated. It is growing well. When I purchased it there were a few others there with this green shoot on them, is this normal for palace purple?

Answer: It is not all that uncommon for purple leaved plants to develop shoots with green leaves on them. You were right in removing the offending shoot. Glad it's doing well for you!
