I have planted many new perennials this year and now that the end of the season is on the horizon, am not sure how to find the best way to get informed on how I maintain them once the blooming has ceased. Do I send send a question for each shrub/flower, or is their an easy to use website for this purpose?

Certainly you may ask about each plant, preferably one per question and/or you can check care information for them at the following web site from the Kemper Center. The information was written for Missouri gardeners but is widely applicable. There is an alpha listing by botanical name and also one by common name.

You might also take a look at a book or two. The Well Tended Perennial Garden is a very thorough one for example. Although some gardeners have very strict rules for their plants, many perennials do tolerate a range of care. Enjoy your garden!
