I don't think you'll find a nursery willing to take your plant, isolate it and then ship it to you. There are too many risks involved. Your best bet is to check with a parcel shipping company (UPS, Fed-Ex, etc.) and ask what their policies are. You can overnight ship to yourself, if they'll take the plant. Otherwise, check with the Agricultural Dept. in Virginia to see what their requirements are. It may be that a personal houseplant is not subject to the same interstate restrictions as nursery stock.
