There are a number of junipers with the growth habits you want for your landscape. Armstrong reaches 4-5 feet in height and width; it is upright, Blue Star reaches 3 feet high and 4 feet wide; has uniform branching, Broadmoor has a mounding habit and grows 2-3 feet high and 10 feet wide, Gold Coast is more arching than Armstrong; reaches 4 feet high and wide.

All will grow well in your gardening region.
