The Q&A Archives: Autumn Fern,

Question: Can it be grown inside?

Answer: Barbara,

You can grow a fern inside but it will need plenty of light. Outdoor shade is much brighter than 95% of indoor locations. You will also need to keep the soil moist and maybe put some trays with pebbles and water beneath it to increase humidity in the plants area as the indoor environment tend to be dry, especially in winter.
