I purchased a sago palm about 3 months ago and would like to plant it in my yard. How long should I leave it in a pot? What time of the year should I plant it? Should I plant it in full sun or partial?

Jennifer,

I would plant it this fall, about October or November as that is a very unstressful time. Sagos do best with little morning sun or dappled shade that is very bright. Water it in well when you plant it and keep the soil moist but not soggy wet.
