butterfly garden - Knowledgebase Question

I just bought a house in zone 9a and would like to know the best flowers to buy to start a butterfly garden in my backyard. I have lots of sun light and shade as well. I am new to garden planning and need a little help from some pro's

Chantel,

There are many great plants for butterfly gardening in your area. Most blooming plants are going to need full sun or close to it. When you plan the garden remember to select blooming plants that attract the adults and also plants which are food for the caterpillars.
