The Q&A Archives: how to

Question: HOw to propagate asian jasmine?

Answer: Victoria,

There are two options. One is to take stems and bend them so they crack but not sever from the plant. Then bury the bend section in a container of potting mix, keep the mix moist and in a few weeks it will be rooted and can be cut from the "mother plant".

The other option is to take sections about 3-4 inches long, remove the lower set of leaves, dip in rooting hormone and stick in a rooting bed where there is light but not direct sun. Keep the rooting bed moist.
