| Although often seen planted between a house and walk as a foundation plant, this is actually a specimen tree for a fairly large area such as a lawn. Over time it grows quite big and looks sculptural and elegant as it spreads outward -- plan on eventually allowing ten feet across at least. It will grow as tall as it is staked and trained prior to being allowed to spread horizontally, typically about three feet high or so. Enjoy! |
