| In my experience it is better to plant hydrangeas in the spring however they can also be planted successfully in September. Be sure to mulch it well in late fall and also provide winter wind protection. Unfortunately, I have no way to check which plants the retailers in your area would have in stock on hand -- they are independent stores and they all carry their own selection of Monrovia (and other) products.
