The Q&A Archives: Low height roses

Question: Looking for white rose bushes (florabunda, shrub, etc.) other than miniature roses that will not attain a maximum height exceeding 2.5 feet. What can you recommend?

Answer: Jackson and Perkins has one they call Fabulous. Lush cascades of blossoms earned this rose the distinctive 2001 Floribunda of the Year award. Robust, bushy and outrageously prolific, this carefree plant gives you dozens of pristine white flowers that accentuate every color in your landscape and your cut arrangements. Gold Medal winner at France's International Competition for New Roses (1997). Although it grows to 3' in height, I think it is worth consideration.

September Mourn, a true white Floribunda, hybridized from Iceberg and Sunflare. It has a mounding growth habit which you can keep at about 3'.

Hope one of these fits the space in your garden!
