Can Hydrangeas be planted in the fall or should I wait until spring? I would like to try the new Endless Summer variety that I read about in Real Simple magazine. Thank you. |
Hydrangeas can be planted in the fall however in your area, zone 5A or the coldest part of zone 5, I would suggest waiting until spring. This will allow the plant more time to become well rooted before winter's cold and hopefully enable it to overwinter better. |
