I live in Castaic, CA where the zone is 9ish, I think. We're in the high desert. Hot summers (90-100), cold winters (30-40). Do you think these vines will do well in a pot trained over our arbor/patio cover?
Much appreciated-

The Strawberry Lemonade Mandevilla is cold rated only for zone 10; it would be risky to grow it in zone 9, especially in an above-ground container. The roots could suffer more cold damage than the plant is able to overcome. Wish I had better news for you!
