Briotti is fruitless. Whether or not it would make a good street tree is probably a matter of opinion. Since it is listed as hardy to USDA winter hardiness zone 5, it probably would not be a good choice for your area -- your zip code places you in the colder zone 4. Your local county extension and/or professionally trained nurseryman should be able to help you identify some good street tree possibilities for your location.
