The Q&A Archives: Cassia splendida

Question: What kind of root system does this tree have, shallow, invasive, deep, etc.? Thank you

Answer: Cassia splendida has a deep, extensive root system, especially if watered deeply but infrequently during the growing season. The roots are not reported to be invasive or problematic, I suspect because of their depth.
