| My hot lips turtlehead is losing some of its buds before they even open??? The rest of the plant seems healthy, any idea what may be causing this??? |
| The most common reason for problems with this plant is lack of soil moisture, so that could be causing them to drop if the soil is not at least evenly moist (to actually wet, think a boggy streamside wetness.) Keep in mind also that the buds don't really open, they just swell and color and the tip will open a little bit. Here is a photo to show you how they look. http://www.ct-botanical-societ...
