The Pineapple Gem variety of Feijoa/Acca was originated by Monrovia in Azusa and described in 1951. A number of botanical gardens list this variety of yours as among the best feijoas. Is there any chance you still have this variety under cultivation? I would appreciate any input you might have as to where I could find one.

Acca sellowiana Pineapple Gem is rare and difficult to find, but the California Rare Fruit Growers (http://www.crfg.org/index.html) discusses this plant on their website, which also includes a list of nurseries. I'll bet you can find the plant through this organization. Hope so!
