I live in Oklahoma. Do I need to bring it in before the first frost? If not, do I neeed to put mulch on it? It is not in the ground, I have it a pot, and it has already has vines wrapping around a tree. It is beautiful.
thanks

Mandevilla is hardy outdoors in your gardening region. It flowers on new wood so you'll want to prune it back in the springtime. Since it is in a container, you'll need to bury the container in the ground to keep the roots from freezing; mulching over the site will add protection. If the vines freeze to ground level, don't worry; new vines will grow in the spring. Enjoy!
