Hello,

In the Sept, 20 issue of Real Simple Magazine, page 61, an article was done on a hydrangea that would bloom from April through October in warm climates. Is there a name for this variety? The article mentioned

Endless Summer (Hydrangea macrophylla 'Bailmer') is a perpetual flowering big-leaf Hydrangea that blooms virtually all season long. And because Endless Summer can flower repeatedly on new wood, you can be confident that regardless of whether the plant dies back to the crown or is trimmed at the wrong time, you'll still get wonderful flowers that grow all season. Endless Summer is remarkably hardy, even to Zone 4, but if your plant dies down to soil level during the winter, it will send up new flowering stems the following year.

The clear blue mop-head blooms may turn pink in alkaline soils. Most nurseries sell Endless Summer in one-gallon or five-gallon containers and they are available all year around. You should be able to find Endless Summer Hydrangea in one of the following local nurseries:
