I have planted 50 eugenia bushes. I need to know how to fertilize them and I must do to help them grow to five feet. They create a barrier from the road.

Jules,

Use a standard turf fertilizer with a ratio of nutrients similar to 3-1-2 or 4-1-2. In early spring sprinkle a cup per 50 square foot of soil surface area around the bushes spreading it evenly outward to 4 feet or so out from the bush in all directions. Water it in well and repeat 2 or 3 times at 4 week intervals. Mulch the soil surface to deter weeds and reduce water loss through evaporation. Keep the soil moist but not too wet and they should grow quickly.
