| Jules, Use a standard turf fertilizer with a ratio of nutrients similar to 3-1-2 or 4-1-2. In early spring sprinkle a cup per 50 square foot of soil surface area around the bushes spreading it evenly outward to 4 feet or so out from the bush in all directions. Water it in well and repeat 2 or 3 times at 4 week intervals. Mulch the soil surface to deter weeds and reduce water loss through evaporation. Keep the soil moist but not too wet and they should grow quickly. Thanks for the question. Please stop in again soon! |
