| I am assuming this is a planter where you could place potted plants. Depending on the amount of exposure to sunlight this planter has, I would think any houseplant with those requirements would do quite well. One idea is to keep an eye out at commercial buildings--offices, malls, hotels, etc. and see what plants strike your fancy. Generally the plants used in these public areas are good reliable plants for indoor use. For example, schefflera, corn plants (draceana), various palms, and vining plants like devil's ivy (pothos) and philodendron are common in low to medium light areas. In the bright sun you might find yuccas, various succulents and certain flowering plants. To give specific recommendations we would need to know more about your conditions and needs--how much light the area will get, the size of the planters, the size of plants you want, whether you want a low-maintenance area or prefer some more exotic, but time-consuming, choices.
