My Mrs. Moom Pulmonaria is about 30 inches across and I'd like to divide it. How do I accomplish this? Thank you for any help.

Pulmonaria can be divided either in spring or in fall. The easiest way is to soak the entire area the day before you plan to dig (moist soil is easier to dig). Unearth the entire plant and pull it apart with your hands, making sure each division has both roots and leafy stems attached. If the rootmass is quite large (as yours probably is), you can divide it with a sharp spade. Replant divisions or pot some up for gardening friends. Water well after replanting and your pulmonaria should establish itself in a few short weeks. Best wishes with your garden!
