Answer: This plant (Artemisia schmidtiana Silver Mound) matures to about a 12 to 18 inch high and wide mound. It can be sheared in early summer and again in midsummer to try to keep it more compact and prevent it splitting open and splaying out flat, but that will not really keep it small. You can divide it and replant each spring to try to control the size somewhat.
