| Unfortunately this type of color change is difficult to diagnose long distance. It might be due to moisture stress, an insect such as beetle grubs, or a disease, or a misapplication of fertilizer or other chemical for example. I would strongly suggest you work with your county extension to determine what has happened, then knowing that, determine how best to proceed.
