I have 14 Silver Princess Boxleaf Euonymus that are three years of age. Each year, at lease one or two of the plants become unhealthy looking and leaves turn white in color and drop off requiring replacement. Whatis a possible cause and solution?

Edward,

Those symptoms may be due to several possible causes. Some herbicides can cause bleaching of new growth, soggy wet soil conditions can cause loss of roots and the leaves may then lose color and drop, or sunburn can also bleach out and kill foliage. Whenever shoots die on that shrub the foliage may bleach out as it dries out and dies. Thus I might look to a root problem or possibly a stem blight or some type if there is a distinct line between green and bleached foliage.
