I'm specifying the watermelon Crapemyrtle to be used for Median Trees. However, in one of the existing medians there are Podocarpus Trees which have to be preserved. So, in order to tie all of the plant materials together. I decide to pick one of the shrub type crape myrtle that is about 3' High and have similar color with The Water Melon Crape Myrtle to be planted with the Podocarpus Median, Any Suggestion??? Thanks

You can try Bourbon Street, a dwarf weeping plant with watermelon red flowers which grows 2-3'; Pocomoke, a red weeping dwarf which grows 2-3'; Tightwad Red which is a light red flowering upright miniature growing 2-4'; or Victor, an upright dwarf with deep red flowers which grows 3-5'.
