The Q&A Archives: Ferns

Question: How is soil prepared to plant a Fern ?

Answer: Ferns like moist, well-draining, slightly acidic soil. Work in some organic matter (compost, peat moss, etc.) into the soil prior to planting your ferns and then water as often as necessary to keep the soil moist but not soggy wet.

Best wishes with your ferns!
