The Q&A Archives: "endless summer hydrengea"

Question: when is the best time to plant, in the fall or beginning of spring

Answer: In my experience hydrangeas are better planted in the spring in cold winter areas such as yours. This allows them all summer and fall to become rooted and established. This lessens the chances of winter damage that first winter.
