I will be visiting my grandma this summer who has bought her seeds from you (very good). I would like to bring back from Wisconsin cutting/roots of plants to replant in my garden. Any suggestions for success and can I legally do this?

You should contact your State Department of Agriculture about regulations concerning the importation of plants. Have ready a list of plants you hope to bring back with you, and they should be able to tell you if it is OK. It is important to check, so that you don't unknowingly bring in a pest. Look in the phone book for the department's number, or call your local Extension agent at 503-776-7371.
