I am in zone seven. I am looking for a small tree that gets no higher than 15 feet and no wider than 12 feet (approx). Area gets full sun. What are some trees that would be suitable?

The overall category of small tree generally includes trees that grow up to the 25 to 30 foot range, much larger than you need. You might find a small growing variety of crabapple that would mature in that size range, but overall I think you might do better looking at shrubs. Among these there are more choices such as Vitex, the mid sized crape myrtles, and if the soil is evenly moist, the larger viburnums. Your local professionally trained garden center staff and/or county extension may have additional (or different) suggestions based on a more detailed understanding of the growing conditions where you want to plant, and your design goals.
