Answer: Probably your best source of rice is a health-food store. Look for raw or untreated rice grains that still have some green under the outer coating. To grow rice you'll need 6" pots with good-sized holes in the bottom, and some soil less potting mix. Fill the pots with potting mix, place the rice grains about 1/4 inch deep, water well and put the pots in a tray filled with 2 or 3 inches of water. Keep the water level at least an inch deep and give the plants at least 12 hours of bright light each day.
