The Q&A Archives: When to Plant

Question: When do I plant phlox, poppies and larkspur in my area?

Answer: Either spring or fall are good planting times in Texas. If you're setting out transplants, the plants will be available in nurseries and garden centers when the time is right to plant; if you're sowing seeds, either spring or fall are good times to broadcast the seeds in your garden. Best wishes!
