Ilex x mondo, the Little Rascal Holly, is a male (no berries) bred for cold hardiness and compact form. It requires almost no maintenance, has a dense, compact, rounded shape, and develops a deep purple winter color. It's evergreen and grows in full to partial sun. Slow-growing to an ultimate size of 2 feet tall, 3 feet wide.
