My New Dawn Rose was planted 2 years ago, first year few blooms. this year 05 the first blooming was beautiful with many blooms. As the blooms died I remmoved them by cutting above where the leaves emerge from the vine. That bloom was beautiful but I have had only two roses bloom(yes two)on the second bloom, the vine then began to grow very large and long limbs, can you give me a hint?

Terry,

You should be seeing a good fall bloom in October on that variety. It may not bloom much in summer. If the vines are healthy and if they are in full sun or close to it I can't think of anything else to suggest you try or do. My guess is that it will soon give its second big bloom production of the year. Don't do any pruning in the meantime or you could be cutting away potential bloom buds.

Thanks for the question. Please stop in again soon!
