I recently ordered 3 Thuja Green Giants. They were supposed to get here at the end of the month. Well they got here yesterday. I live in the Texas Panhandle. It is supposed to be in the 90s next week, so it is still hot. Is it ok to go ahead and plant them or should I wait until it gets cooler? I also intend to plant a Nandina. The same question applies to that.

Patricia,

This is a hot time but you can go ahead and plant both plants if you like. Just keep the original root ball moist until the weather cools and fall rains take of the watering chores!

Thanks for the question. Please stop in again soon!
