hi what time of year is best for planting boston ivy i live in zone 6,and also i heard it attracts bees is this true thanks j |
If it is container grown you can plant any time the ground is workable, but now in the early fall and then early spring are the best times to plant. If you plant now, water as needed to keep the soil slightly damp until it freezes, and mulch. It may attract some bees during the short time it blooms (you will barely notice the blooms) but in my experience it is not noticeable. |
