What would be suitable companion foundation plantings with rhododendrons as major focus in an area appx 5 feet by 20 feet long?

Rhododendrons like acidic soil and most like shade from hot afternoon sunshine. With this in mind, camellias, azaleas, mahonia, kalmia and evergreen spirea would make fine companions to your rhodies.
