I recently ordered 3 Thuja Green Giants from a catalog. They were not supposed to arrive until late Sept or early Oct. They got here a couple of days ago. I have them on the front porch. I also want to plant a couple of the small variety of Beauty Berry. It is still quite warm here in the Texas panhandle. The high temps are expected to be in the mid to low nineties for the next two weeks. Is it ok to plant or should I wait until it cools off some? Thank you in advance, Patricia Collins

Patricia,

You can either plant now or wait until later in the fall. I would plant now and just take care to keep the root ball moist with frequent watering. Just don't keep them soggy wet. They should be fine.

Thanks for the question. Please stop in again soon!
