| Lonicera japonica `Halliana` is an aggressive grower to between 15 and 30 feet. It is semi evergreen so you may want to leave most of it there for the winter, waiting until late winter or early spring to trim it back very hard. Then trim it after each bloom flush -- or as needed -- during the summer. To prevent it being seeded about by birds you may also want to trim it in late fall after frost to remove some of the berries (seeds). |
