Winter Daphne - Knowledgebase Question

I had a landscape plan completed about eighteen month ago which included Daphne. I am ahving an extremely hard time surviving these plants, som elive and some do not.

Any suggestions or possible substitutes?

Burl,

If your witner Daphne is not surviving it is probably either drying out or staying too soggy wet. Both kill roots. It also may be that the area gets too much sun. If the area is sunny you might try Indian Hawthorne as a substitute. If it is shady an azalea may be a good alternative.
