Could you tell me which male holly I should use to pollinate Nellie R. Stevens for max berry production? Will this also increase berry production in other hollies such as needlepoint? Thank You. V. Mergner

Nellie Stevens is self-fertile so will produce berries without a male nearby. As a matter of fact, all Chinese hollies are self-fruitful, including your Needlepoint. However, you can plant a male Ilex cornuta (Carissa Holly) such as Rotunda to increase fruit production.
