What is the main way purple fountain grass propagates? I believe that the plant has runners which create new blades. However, are there seeds in the plums which can spread with the wind?

The only reliable way of propagating Purple Fountain Grass is through division. They generally do not set viable seeds (and therefore do not readily self-sow).
